"Ni pena ni miedo" translates roughly as "No shame, nor fear." The work of Chilean poet Raúl Zurita. He said that during Augusto Pinochet’s regime he “began to imagine writing poems in the sky, on the faces of cliffs, in the desert”. In the 1990s, Zurita turned his attention to the desert, where he had the words bulldozed into the sand. The phrase is an amazing 2 miles long!
