The View From Above is a collection of megalithic messages, designs, and graffiti placed on the surface of the earth specifically to be viewed from the air. Some are modern, some are the creations of ancient cultures. I will try to give you a little information about each of the photos posted here, and would appreciate any information or comments you may have, as well.

Here's a picture of Genghis Khan, and its 455 feet tall!

Just south of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is a 455 foot high portrait of Genghis Khan, founder of the Mongol Empire. Just to the west of the portrait is another geoglyph with an inscription depicting Genghis Khan's name.
