Just northwest of Munich Airport lies an mega-sized artwork by Wilheli Holderied's and Karl Schlamminger called "Earth: An Island in Time." It is formed out of gravel. The size of the geoglyph is 270 x 170 meters, the furrows are 3.40 meters deep.
