The View From Above is a collection of megalithic messages, designs, and graffiti placed on the surface of the earth specifically to be viewed from the air. Some are modern, some are the creations of ancient cultures. Rock Eagle Effigy Mound - Georgia

An archaeological site in Putnam County Georgia, USA constructed 1,000 to 3,000 years ago. It's built of thousands of pieces of quartzite laid in the mounded shape of a large bird. Although it is most often referred to as an eagle, scholars don't really know exactly what kind of bird it is supposed to be.
